Marguerite daisies self seeded themselves in our allotment last year – and this year they are everywhere! I have kept some in the allotment, and we have moved some to our garden and yard, given some to family, friends and neighbours, but they are so prolific and grow so large, I have had to get rid of some of them. They do produce a mass of beautiful flowers though, and have really brightened the yard up. And just look at that beautiful geometry in the centre of the flower!

Find the colour swatch over at Adobe Color for use in your artwork. Have fun!

    Hi Carrie,
As Victoria AUS is looking in the face of lockdown #5, your beautiful flower-colour mini blogs and concept ’tiles’ brought me inspiration. I have begun to paint with online courses supporting my development. Your matched colour swatches have given guidance about what I can do with my many (many, many) flower and random photos to enrich my colour awareness. As if that wasn’t enough, you then added “And just look at that beautiful geometry in the centre of the flower!” I couldn’t help a welcome smile, remembering to just look and notice and appreciate.
    Thank you,
    Julie T

      Hello Julie!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, and I’m so pleased the colour swatches have been helping you in your artwork. I too have taken the time this past year to slow down, take notice, and appreciate the wonderful things we have in life.
      Sending best wishes to you,

Say hello!
