I'm creating 8 of these postcards, to go off in the post to various folks. They will all have different colour schemes.
I'll scan them all and will reprint at least one of the designs as greetings cards or posters.

With the upcoming exhibition of the Lindisfarne Go With the upcoming exhibition of the Lindisfarne Gospels at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle, interest has been re-ignited in drawing Celtic knots, and I've been busy teaching them online.

The workshops are conducted one-to-one and online, so you can learn from the comfort of your own home, and I'll guide you through everything and answer all your questions.

The second picture was taken at the end of one of these workshops, where I worked with an absolute beginner not only to knotwork, but to drawing in general, and who produced some beautiful knots on the workshop!

The third picture is a look at what you will learn on the first workshop.

You can also buy this workshop as a gift for someone who would be interested in learning this artform.

All the details on are my website, just click the link in my bio, and then 'Celtic Knot Workshops' in the menu. I have two spaces left for next week.

I look forward to welcoming you on a workshop soon 😊

P.S. If you're not in the UK I'm very happy to adjust the lesson time to one convenient to your time zone 😊

So... as a distraction I'm also working on a knot derived from the front cover of the Lindisfarne Gospels, which I'll show soon. The Lindisfarne Gospels is going to be exhibited at the @laingartgallery this autumn and I'm looking forward to going to see the work again.

The last time I saw it was in Durham in 2013, which is where I met my partner 😊 He's also a Celtic knot artist, although he doesn't have social media. I may well show some of his pieces soon, they are mainly in metal and stone.
