Lino printed logo design for The Ran Tanners

with No Comments

Whilst I was helping folks to print up their own steam locomotive lino prints at Tanfield Railway the other month (have a read of this blog post for details of those lino prints), I met Ian and Paul, The Ran Tanners. They are a great duo who play Georgian and Victorian music on fiddles, pipes and the melodeon, and they really enlivened the atmosphere and played absolutely terrific music! They asked me to create a lino print style logo for them, which I was thrilled to do!

We used their fiddles, melodeon and bowler hats as the basis for their logo, and I carved it out so that’s it’s the right size to print up onto CD covers, with space for a title on the cover too. I also created a digital version of their logo so that they can use it in print, and I created some business cards for them too!

I had great fun on this project, and I can really recommend The Ran Tanners for your event, so do pop over and have a peek at their website!

Say hello!
