Come and get creative with me and learn a new skill! I can’t wait to meet you on Zoom and teach you the joy of creating Celtic knots. Find out all about my classes and how to book one below. If you have any questions, please just get in touch.

How the classes work

My online Celtic art classes are one-to-one and are conducted through the Zoom platform. I want to get the joy of creating Celtic art out to everyone, so my beginners online classes are currently being run on a ‘pay what you can afford’ basis. The classes that are more advanced and take a lot of time to prepare are being charged at a set rate.

How to book

All of my current classes are below. Make a note of the class you would like to take, click the information box to be taken through to the booking system, and choose the time and day that suits you best for your class. When booking, you will be asked for the name of the class you would like to take. I’ll be in touch within 24 hours to send you the link to my PayPal.me account for you to pay.

What will happen in the class

Classes will be between one and one and a half hours long, we’ll take it at your own pace.

The class will be conducted through the Zoom platform, so please download this and familiarise yourself with it before we start the class. Once the class has started, we’ll introduce ourselves, and then I’ll switch the webcam to show you my workspace and I’ll guide you step-by-step through creating the design.

Materials

The materials you need for the classes are pretty basic!

Good quality drawing paper
HB pencil
2B pencil
Fineliner, biro or felt tip (I like to use a permanent marker such as Faber Castell PITT artist pen (size F or S) or Uni-Ball Pin drawing pen (size 0.2 or 0.3) )
A paper blending stump if you have one
Rubber
Ruler
Pair of Compasses
Protractor

For the classes with colour, watercolour paper, watercolour pencils, brush and a pot of water are needed in addition to the above.

You’ll also need a webcam so that you can show me your progress as we go through the class.
