Welcome to the Dendryad Art lino printing tutorials. I hope that you will find a lot of enjoyment through these tutorials, and will be encouraged to continue lino carving as a hobby. This is not a just cheap way to make yourself your own images for stamped projects, it is also an artform in itself, leading to fabulous artistic creations.

Here I’ll be showing you the basics – what you need to get you carving, and the methods of how to carve. As I come up with more tutorials, I’ll add them to the website. There is also a gallery of my own carvings to view. If you prefer to watch and learn rather than read and learn, then I am gradually building up a selection of lino printing how-to videos.

Here’s the recommended order of following the class:
Tools and Materials
The Basics
Simple Effective Designs
Portraits
Lettering

Have fun with your carved creations!

If you have a go at the class, or have been carving for a long while, please do drop me a line to say hello – it would be great to see other carver’s work 😀
