This month’s free download is a stationery set created from my Climbing Roses illustration. The set contains both A5 and A4 papers, as well as a C6 envelope for you to print out and use as many times as you like. The set is available to download straight away here – if you don’t have a DropBox account, just click the ‘no thanks’ link on the pop up box and you will still be able to download it.
Writing a letter makes you slow down, relax and fosters creativity. It makes you truly think about the recipient, and what you would like to convey to them. When I was a teenager I was a member of a pen pal club and I used to write to other teenagers around the world: Hong Kong, Jamaica, Algeria, USA, New Zealand, Australia and most European countries. It expanded my knowledge of the world and it was a real delight to receive letters describing all these lives that were so different to mine.
In recent years I’ve taken to hand writing to friends rather than texting and emailing them, it’s so much more personal and creates a deeper connection. So download the set, print it out, and see who you can reconnect with through hand writing!
